How To Fix High CPU Usage In Windows

Many have experienced the same problems as the rise and fall or instability cpu usage on a laptop / computer. This often happens on the laptop / computer we are lead to data processing, applications, etc to be blocked. For that I will share how to overcome the problem of cpu usage.

The steps are as follows:

• Perform Scan Malware or Spyware 

Most likely the cause of the above problems because the act of malware or spyware that attack a computer without us knowing. Try doing your trust Antivirus Scanning uses to determine if your computer is free from viruses.

• Reduce Startup Programs and Services are running.

This is also the problem that caused the problem above, I've seen my laptop CPU usage using Task Manager and then I saw that there are some who eat Resource Service is quite large, therefore turn off some Services are not too important,

How:

• Open the Start Menu
• Click Run, then type "msconfig" without the quotes 
• In the System Configuration tab select 'service' or 'startup 
• Uncheck the unneeded services. 
• Click OK, Restar computer 
Note: do not arbitrarily turn off the Service if you are wrong because your computer can restart itself.

Here is the Service that you are safe to turn off in order to reduce the CPU load:

   Alerter
   Clipbook
   computer Browser
   Fast User Switching
   Human Interface Access Devices
   Indexing Service (Slows the hard drive down)
   Messenger
   Net Logon (unnecessary unless networked on a Domain)
   Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing (disabled for extra security)
   Remote Desktop Help Session Manager (disabled for extra security)
   Remote Procedure Call Locater
   Remote Registry (disabled for extra security)
   Routing & Remote Access (disabled for extra security)
   server
   SSDP Discovery Service (this is for the utterly pointless
   "Universal P'n'P", & leaves TCP Port 5000 wide open)
   TCP / IP NetBIOS Helper
   Telnet (disabled for extra security)
   Universal Plug and Play Device Host
   Upload Manager
   Windows Time
   Wireless Zero Configuration (for wireless networks)
   workstation 

• Stop svchost.exe
  
  The last way is checking scvhost.exe, many thought that this service is a virus, svchost is actually the 'host' for various service dikomputer us. Svchost help the system run smoothly. Because it contains many svchost processes automatically, we can change the setting to manual so not much resource consuming. Here's the process:
  

  • Click Start | Run (type) "services.msc" (without the quotes)
  • Find "DNS Client" 
  • Right click and select 'Properties' 
  • Click the drop-down box in the "Startup type" 
  • Select to 'Manual' 
  • click Apply / Ok.Restart.
